“I really appreciate Radhika’s devotion and love for music which is from the core of her heart, which reflects in her singing and leads you to serenity… “

Padmabhushan Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan, Veteran Sitar player

My journey into Sufi music began with Punjabi Sufi poet Bulleh Shah’s kalaam. It captured my heart and has now led me to explore the poetry of other Sufi mystics too. When I was pursuing Economics at Delhi University and later on an MBA at XLRI Jamshedpur, I had absolutely no idea I would ever gravitate towards music full time. But after a few years of working in Hindustan Lever and then at ANZ Grindlays Bank, I realized my calling was elsewhere. And there has been no looking back since…. I had to begin from the beginning. I started learning Hindustani classical music from Pandita Sushila Rani Patel, the doyenne of Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana. Over the last few years, I have been under the tutelage of other Gurus, Smt Dhanashree Pandit Rai (a leading Thumri exponent) and now Shri Dayal Thakur. My website is a window into my journey so far…hope you enjoy it!
